2. How to manage topic subscriptions.
3. How to subscribe to forums you enjoy.
4. How to manage your forum subscriptions.
5. How to manage other notifications you receive from the board.

TO SUBSCRIBE TO A TOPIC



Browse to the topic you wish to follow. Click on the Watch this topic button.



You will immediately be taken to the page in your settings where you can choose what kind of notification you wish to receive. Choose the option you prefer and hit the Proceed button. You will then be taken back to the topic.


TO CHANGE YOUR TOPIC SUBSCRIPTION SETTINGS



Browse to your settings area by choosing the My Settings option, located in the drop-down menu by your user name box.



Click on the Forum tab. Choose the Manage Watched Topics menu item.



Put a check in the box by the topic you wish to work with. Pick the subscription option you prefer and then click on the with selected button.



TO SUBSCRIBE TO A FORUM



Choose the forum category you are interested in. I am going to go inside of the Questions, Comments, or Concerns? forum category.



If the category has sub-categories, click on the link to the appropriate sub-category. I am going to go into the Questions, Comments, Suggestions: (How do I do it? You Ought to Know It... I'd Like Everyone to Know This) sub-category.



Click on the Watch Forum button.



TO CHANGE FORUM SUBSCRIPTION SETTINGS



Select the My Settings option from your user's drop-down menu item.



Click on the Forum tab and choose the Manage Watched Forums menu option.




Put a check in the box next to the forum item you wish to change. Select the subscription option you want to use from the drop-down menu and hit the with selected button.



TO CHANGE OTHER NOTIFICATION SETTINGS

If you wish to receive notifications whenever someone adds a comment to a string you have been participating in, follow these instructions.



Choose the My Settings item in the drop-down menu, located by your user name.



Click on the Forum tab.

If you don't want to receive any notifications on topics you have replied to, uncheck the box by Watch every topic I reply to and hit the Submit button.

If you want to receive notifications, choose the option you wish to use, put a check in the box by Watch every topic I reply and hit the Submit button.
