Gummie Baur Land- a little museum with fun facts and photos, antique Pez dispensers and a history of candy making in Germany. Just one frustration- it was all in German with no English translation. We had a full hour to look at the displays then to shop for gummies, sours, cookies and popcorn. It was an enjoyable time with some samples and sugar-free in the mix. And if this was not enough specialties to enjoy, Cesar and Carrie returned to the house with Diego while the rest went for pastries. The plan was to go for dinner later. With a smile, we were told they had cannelloni and gelato…We were glad to know we could all go together for dinner at Bella Italia. Another fine meal there, with different selections for everyone. The topper was iced coffee, a coffee float with vanilla gelato. Only 3 were ordered-it was all so filling.
Laughing about Victoria having a vision because she remembered where the apple Diego had in the morning was (it came to her and that must mean she can SEE…) and teasing Carrie because I asked what all the fire trucks and ambulances were in the area to do. I wanted information on there being no police and why were they traveling up to a neighborhood instead of going off to the hospital; instead there was teasing with stories of aliens coming and how they were taking over which was as good a hypothesis as any, perhaps.
We had planned to see a movie, but Clash of the Titans was not available at the store and we headed home to watch home video instead. It was a good plan; time to get the kids down to sleep and enough entertaining footage while we were still awake. Girls were all packed and ready to leave in the morning. Ciao-
