I have always eyed those beautiful Victorian backgrounds with their rich texture. Often thinking, wow, I'd really like to make something like that. I have bought so many neat kits that I really have no reason for making one other than to see if I could.
Since I have a Mac I looked at all kinds of programs that would help me do what I wanted but I ended up going back to Photoshop since I had it. (I tend to collect too many apps anyway!)
So what did I do. I used the round brush and eraser. I also found I could mirror an image by using the clone stamp tool. So manned with these few things I came out with my first Deco.

I created a brush to help in the design.
I plan on adding more to this design but I was so excited to get this far that I had to post it.
And here is a finished paper template.

I had so much fun! I might try to do something similar with leaf brushes or snowflake brushes. Maybe use the transform tool to bend them around abit.
oooo, and these I just found! Brush Set: Textile
These were made to be backgrounds! lol!
There are so many fun brushes in the store, ohh the creations I could create!...if I had the time...
