We have been extremely blessed that almost everyone that comes to Scrap Girls is kind and considerate. It is our desire to have our members all feel welcome, appreciated, and loved and we appreciate all that our members do to help make that happen.

It has come to my attention that recently, there have been one or two people that have sent unpleasant PM's (meaning grumpy and critical of the person they have contacted). We do not allow this and it breaks our TOU to be unkind. I will quote from the beginning portion of our Terms of Use document.

Quote

Before we get started with the rules and regulations, let us say one very important thing: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

If you remember this statement, you’ll know everything there is to know about how to get along here at Scrap Girls. We work hard to make a safe place for our members. Our members care about each other, pray for each other, and do good things for each other because they are good people.

As Ro's grandma used to say, "Be kind. Be kind." Our members are kind people. If you come to Scrap Girls with kind intentions, you will be happy here.

If you receive a PM that feels unkind, please forward it to one of the moderators. If the moderators agree that the person is being unkind on purpose, we will put them on a "no PM" status. If, however, we can see that the individual has just had difficultly expressing themselves and it is likely that they meant no harm, we will quietly talk to them so that they good feelings can be restored.

Thank you so much for helping us make a safe place to be.
