Nice double LO for wonderful pictures and great journaling. I live in the foothills of the Appalachians, but I love the wide-open spaces like you have, too.

And I’m all for “the simple things”. Older, I grew up in much simpler times; and although I do like a lot of our newer electronic stuff and the increased availability of things, I don’t think it’s done much for human interaction and peace. I wouldn’t give anything for growing up in earlier times. I feel like I gained so much more than children today. It looks like you are trying to raise your kids with some of those ‘simple things’ in mind and teaching them how to make their own fun without fancy tools. Hats off to you!
