We have a "fixer upper" cottage located on a channel that leads into a lake. I was playing around with my "nifty fifty", trying to get the effects of different apertures and shutter speeds instead of doing the yard work ;-)

Canon Rebel T1i - 50mm FL
using AV mode F/1.8, white balance cloudy,
Shutter speed of 250 and ISO 100

This is great - I like the hint of color. The reflection is beautiful. Much more productive use of your time than yardwork.

This is worthy of a wall hanging. I love how you've done it in portrait. The colours are just gorgeous and your leading line is just mesmerising. Well done!
