Double Delight

I've had at least one of these Hybrid Teas in my garden ever since my DH's grandfather raved about his so long ago. It was his favorite variety. He said that it looked as if light was shining up through the rose from the center. I always think of him when I look at mine. Syndee's Damask elements show it off perfectly:

Elisha this is just gorgeous. Double Delight just has to be my most favourite rose as well. It is so pretty and the smell is just gorgeous. I love your layout and it showcases this beautiful rose just perfectly.

I poured over this LO in the Newsletter today. It was great to see an example of the Tattered Photo Action used on a photo without the aged style that was created at the same time. I had trouble understanding how the 2 of them worked separately (now ‘on my list’). I also loved seeing another example of the Damask Style used on bkg paper (just purchased). And the wonderful leaf stem sent me off to put that older mini collection into my ‘get next’ stack. Just what a Newsletter LO should do, huh—sell products!

I love this layout - from the colours to the brushing, to the layering and the wonderful photo cluster with the great leaves and butterflies. Awesome! :-)

This is far more than "Doubly Delightful" . . . many times over and over, I would say. I had not noticed the Damask Tool_Style but just plopped it into my cart because of this scrumptious LO. I'm thinking that you probably extracted the leaves. They just jump off the page and give it so much depth. I want to reach out and pick the rose it's so real! Love the little damask butterflies flitting about in just the perfect spots. Wow, wow, wow!
