Hello Busch Stadium

After the 2005 baseball season the Cardinals demolished the old Busch Stadium. In April 2006 they moved into the new one. We were able to visit twice that first week, once for the opening exhibition game and once for an open house tour where we got to visit all of the "club level" seats where we will never get tickets!

It's sad to see all the older stadiums being torn down in favor of new ones. Lucky you... getting to go twice the opeing week of the new stadium. I bet you had a lot of fun. I live close to Cincinnati and Cleveland. Both have newer stadiums. I haven't managed to get to either one yet. Great layout featuring historic photos. It's something you can reflect on forever.
