Well I have spent all night trying to do a LO with this photo. You know when you soooooo want to do a great job and it doesn't happen. Our SIL sent us some photo through the email, he is a real honey, he knows I'm a bit fanatical about photos. So here we have our adorable 3rd Grand daughter who is only hours old. She had a bit of a rough journey into the world so I have turned the photo into b/w because then you can't see all the battle marks. I love her bright eyes and gorgeous wee doll like lips!! I so can't wait to see her on Thursday.

If anyone has any ideas on how to improve this I so would appreciate your comments. Thank you.

I used:

PWR Acceptance

SNU Styles Cardboard glitter

Fonts: Beautiful and Arial

The curl was my handwork.

Ngaire - what a gorgeous LO of a totally gorgeous young lady!! Sorry to hear about her rough trip into the world - my eldest had one of those and I wasn't allowed to wash his head/hair for nearly two weeks because he was so badly bruised!! I think what you've done here is absolutely stunning - all of the touches. I can't wait to see more photos/LOs - bring on Thursday!! Congrats again!

AWWWWWWWWWW! She is so, so precious, Ngaire! So bright eyed and alert! And, look, she's blowing you a kiss! I love the layout -- don't change a thing. I changed all of Nolan's birth pics to a chocolate color in the baby book I made because of the poor quality of the photos and I think it makes them more special ... love the grainy-ness of it ... I somehow think it helps to convey the theme of the newness of the birth and the quickly captured images of these fleeting moments. Probably sounds a little too artistic, but, to me, it makes the photos stand out ... I said all that to tell you I like the b&w!

She's lovely Ngaire! Your layout is so pretty as well, and we welcome her into your family as you are part of our family! I love your branches and all of the pretty pink and the lace. So sweet! How wonderful that she's made it here safe and sound. Congratulations!

Grammie Ngaire x 3 = a heart bursting with love and joy!!!! I bet you are counting the minutes until Thursday arrives when you can hold that adorable little Jasmine in your arms. Her very first layout is "right on" . . . soft, sweet, feminine with just the perfect little embellishments. I really do like the black and white photo as it seems to define her tiny features, especially the little perched mouth. Congratulations to all.
