This is One Tree Hill in Auckland. It was an old Maori Pa as you can see from the terraces in the hill where they used to grow their crops and live. The ONE TREE (that was right at the top and could be see from all over Auckland) died a few years ago so I suppose it should be called NO TREE HILL now!!!

Jane, this is such a beautiful layout. Your photos and layouts are so great. I always look for your work. I have some photos of one tree hill that we took when we were there quite a few years ago. This makes me want to dig out all those photos and look at them again.

Lovely treatment of the faded photo in the background, it is so soft and lovely. I love the tear to the photo too and the journal booking for the text is a nice addition. This turned out so pretty!
