Isn't it fun to play with all those blend modes. They sure do come up with some awesome surprises sometimes and this looks like it was one of them. This definitely doesn't look like a bad photo now Eli, it looks great!

elisha, what a happy accident and good inspiration and encouragement for all of to not give up on old damaged poorly compsed photos. Thanks for sharing the process you used.

This is so magical. I love the colors and your photo treatment is just awesome. Hard light is such a great effect sometimes, it really set this image off. The blending is beautiful, you have created a precious treasure here. :D

I would NEVER in a million years have known you started with a damaged photo...brilliant work, brilliant (educated) accident (kinda like an educated guess, lol), super page!

Ah, serendipity! The photo does have something intriguing about it that draws you in. Your layout looks awesome. I love the blending of the clouds. The names of the kids is a cute touch & the cluster is lovely & perfect for a beach photo.

Wow are you talented with a little bit of luck thrown in. Love the look of the sky. It's an awesome layout from a so called bad photo. Karen

VERY nice handling of a photo to take advantage of its good points, and keep the memories fresh! Love it!
