Oh, this is a great picture! I don't think you should redo it. Not that the next batch won't be good, but this is already fabulous. Such a great expression & the backlight on her hair, just beautiful.

I agree. I think this is a wonderful photo. She is a beautiful woman, and I think her personality shines through in this photo. I really don't see how a retake could be any better. My congratulations to them. My parents were married 62 years when my Father died. We're shooting for that for us.

Sarah, this is fantastic. I love the beautiful face you've captured and the bg is so soft and more subtle. the rule of thirds is really working well in the angle of her face turned towards the camera with her body more to the left. It works really well as a lovely portrait.

This is beautiful Sarah. I love that you captured the twinkle in her eyes, and the softness of her beautiful face. I second Rosemary's comment about the rule of thirds. It works.

Sarah - this looks wonderful! Your composition is absolutely spot on!! And with such a lovely looking subject, you could hardly go wrong! Rosemary hit it on the head with the comment about the body turning toward the camera - lovely. She's a lucky lady to have you as her DIL. Definitely one for the wall - the lighting is great!

Sarah, this looks very professional! Wow, has she seen the photo yet? The lighting seems perfect. Excellent job of minimizing the reflection in her glasses.

This is a lovely portrait - the placement and the soft light are very flattering. I bet that your MIL will be very pleased with the results.
