Edinburgh Sights, p.2 of 2

Edinburgh is stunning! It’s perched on steep hills alongside the valley where the trains run. It looks like this valley was flooded by the sea once. The buildings are interesting, and while crowded, the city is friendly and relaxed.

We wandered along Prince Street, and through a gorgeous park along the train route. Azaleas and rhododendrons were in bloom, and there is an interesting flower scent we could not identify. The hillside below the castle is covered with faded daffodil blooms; it would have been spectacular just a couple of weeks earlier. Roses will be filling another hillside in just a couple of weeks.

Wow..this is amazing!! I love your placement and color choices. You did a great job getting multiple photos on the page. I always struggle with that and you make it look easy. Great job.

Thanks, Brandy. t'weren't easy--I porbably have eight hours in this double layout, including picture selection and fixing levels, etc. I love layouts with fewer pictures, but I will never finish this chronology or be able to afford its book if I don't find ways to put multiple pictures on them. :-) Anyway, thank you SO much!

This is wonderful. I am really enjoying your trip layouts & this one is great. Love the circles and the arrangement of photos. Somehow, the color scheme just says Scotland to me, too. I love gardens & you have some great photos here.
