2010 05 22 Colour Challenge - Mystery 3 Choice

This is my attempt at the Saturday Colour Challenge for May 22nd.

When I read Angela’s challenge post I immediately thought of this photo. When I first saw it I loved it and wanted to do a layout with it. It reminded me of the meadow in the Twilight Series and seemed very romantic. I found a quote that I liked and then went from there.

The colours that I picked up from the photo and created the LO around were purple, brown and green. The background paper I found had the perfect colours, I didn’t even need to change anything about it.

I used the following products in my LO:

The quote is: “There is a way that nature speaks, that land speaks. Most of the time we are simply not patient enough, quiet enough, to pay attention to the story.” ~ Linda Hogan

Font - Aquiline, and Radagund

CC, suggestions for changes and feedback always appreciated

ROFL I was just going to ask you about Twilight coming out pretty soon, ;) I bet you can't wait! I've seen the two moves and they are fun. Your photo is beautiful and I love the textures of the bg and the frame you used. Beautiful quote too, LOVE it all!

Oh i love your take on this. Rather than using alot of green as the photo has alot, you focused on the purple! I love it! You are so very creative!

What a great photo! The path really draws you in & I love the flowers. The purple background is a good choice & the bronze frame looks good too. The sunburst is kind of neat, too.

After seeing your beautiful LO I had to put the "Fancy That" border on my wish list! You did such a great job on this, I just love the colors and what you did with them!
