Mexican Sage

I picked just 2 colors, hope that is OK. Green and Purple.

I have a Mexican Sage plant in the back yard that was there when we moved in, that I have a love-hate relationship with. I love it in other people's yards, but not my own. It's just a "space filler", I have to cut it back all the time and I really dislike the way the leaves smell. But it thrives on neglect, blooms most of the time and attracts hummingbirds and butterflies, so I guess it's staying. :)

These are really nice photos of your sage. It is a lovely flower & I can see where it would attract hummers. (Nice touch to add the hummingbird embellishment). That's a really nice bit of journaling and the colors work really well. I think you did a good job getting a green that reflects that blueish cast of the sage leaves. Hey, flowers & hummingbirds & doesn't need tending - sounds like my kind of plant.

It does smell awful doesn't it ... but pretty to look at and photograph. Your colour choice here is perfect for the plant. And your journaling is a hoot! Thanks for sharing.

Great layout. I love the purple on the green background, it's so amazing that these two colors go so well together.

Love the photos of that pretty plant, and I love how you added the hummingbird. I like your journaling and you might not like this plant, but it is pretty and does serve a purpose in your garden.
