My Son is Becoming an Adult

I used Industrial Strength papers. My son has done his first big adult thing. He has bought a fairly new used truck that involves more than a year or 2 of payments. He bought it over the internet from 1500 miles away and when he got it here it had some major engine problems they didn't tell him about. He took care of all the calls to get things repaired and and still kept up with his job and his other responsibilities. I have to keep remembering that he is not my little boy anymore and he can stand on his own 2 feet just fine. I'm proud of how he handled everything.

This is really cool. The "Industrial Strength" works great for this layout. The details block is really fun.

Love your treatment of the photo! Great memory to scrap. Something so significant but yet not something we would think to document. Well done!

That is such a great photograph and layout. Car styles really speak of an era and sometimes we forget to scrap them and their owners. Very cool!

Oh how our baby boys grow up so fast!! This sounds like you are just the proudest Mum!! Also your lad looks like he is pretty pleased with himself as well. Great milestone to scrap. I hope the payments go past real fast for him and that it isn't too hard for him to keep up. Then that is another time to scrap!! Our son was so pleased when the payment time was finished.

I really love what you said in the description! You should journal those words! I do love this layout though. The Industrial kit is perfect!
