Okay, so I'm in love with this layout. It all just WORKS! Maybe you don't need to be reading all those articles on creating birthday pages! :)

I love the angle of your photo and her sweet little smile. Great use of color and the 5's are really fun and remind me of a carousel horse going up and down. I like that you anchored the photo with the journal tag and the brushwork around the tag adds a nice flair to the grouping. Great LO!
