California Fruit Salsa

California Fruit Salsa

I wanted something bright and 'Californian' for this LO.
This was one of my first American food experiences when I arrived in the US. I fell in love with it and since then have made it so many times I've lost count - each time with loads of compliments. It's great as a dip on chips (tostillos?!) or as a side with chicken or pork and one lady told me that she had it for a desert as well.
It's easy because you just chuck it all in a blender (or hand dice if you're like me!!) and then leave to sit for an hour or so then eat. It keeps wonderfully well in the fridge though so I usually double the quantity when I make it.
What I used in my LO are:
AMC_AYO-Zoom_SunnyDay_12x12_Sun (I combined the two pages and joined them)
CVA SSTools Scripts Rename Layer
SP Splendid Alpha's for Title
Font = Jenkins v2.0
As always - CC and feedback welcomed.

    Oh this sounds wonderful Carole! I love your sunshine card too. Very clever...makes mine seem kind of sad.... I love the picnic and btw, I'm having what you're having, :lol: love that pink drink on the top of the basket!
    I just love your card...it definately has a 'Californian' feel to it ...all bright and fun. The recipe sounds really great too. I am going to be making this soon.
    I've had similar dishes before...TASTY! Now I need to try yours as well. The card is absolutely wonderful! I just LOVE how you've incorporated the journaling into the shape of the sun...brilliant! And I really like the little picnicky cluster too. Fabulous!
    Mango, peppers, and cilantro in the same recipe? With chilis? You've peeked my curiosity with this recipe! Thanks for sharing!
    Maybe this can become a NZ favourite as well Carole :)
    This is so pretty! Love the bright colors. What a clever idea to put the steps on the sun rays. That's an adorable picnic cluster you made, too. The recipe sounds interesting.
    I think this is one lovely card. It is so original and creative! I haven't had a fruit salsa before. I will definitely give it a try.
    What a great card! Love the recipe in the sun and all the cute embellies at the bottom. Sounds like yummy recipe too. TFS

    YUM! I LOVE the pop of color on your card--the sun & turquoise make me want to try the recipe immediately. Thanks for sharing.
