BOOTS

I used DCA back to basics alpha, It's a Guy Thing brown paper, It's a Guy thing Worn Mesh, DCA Back to Basics Cardboard Strip, SNU Isn't it Romantic -Twirl, Twilight and Dance floor papers. I used the tutorial from Scrap Girls University to blend my papers using a gradient. I also used the tutorial for making a work path to put my text inside of. I used the loose glitter styles from Scrap Girls on the word BOOTS. the flower on the cardboard strip and I selected an area in the lower left, made a duplicate layer of it and added the loose glitter style there to make it look like dirt. We had 9" of rain over a couple of days last weekend and even our chore boots need some sunshine.

9 inches---that is a lot of rain! In NW WA it hasn't stopped raining--I think it has forgotten how to, mainly drizzles. I will have to scraplift your LO! I would like to try that using glitter to make the dirt and on the words. As usual your work inspires me!

This so made me smile. Our place often looks like this as well but not so neat and tidy!! :disappearing-smilie: Yep that is alot of rain! We just had 13 inches a couple of weeks back and things sure do get keen to see the sunshine!! Great layout!!

Great colors! Your blending looks great and that is such a rich brown! And a fantastic font. The bit of burlap under the photos is a good idea - it looks like a rug. I do like this layout.

Nine inches!!! Man, did you finish building your ark yet?
