Grandma Ruth

I used papers from the CKA trucks and tires collection and the SNU memento special paper. I followed the instructions from the Scrap Girls University for adding a styled edge to my frame. This wonderful lady became our grandmother by choice. Her first husband died in an accident and she married my husband's grandfather and enjoyed 20 years with him. After he passed she met the love of her life and enjoyed 10 wonderful years with him before he passed away. She exercises more than all her grandkids, enjoys a bawdy joke and can play a mean harmonica. We don't remember grandpa's first wife. Grandma Ruth is the only grandmother any of us can remember and our lives have been blessed by that.

Your story brought tears to my eyes as well as a smile to my lips. It’s easy to see how she has made it so well to 92—she really LIVES her life!

Great job with the display. Love the blending of the photo. You really did a great job making it look blended in without having the flowers in the backing paper detract from the photo.

What great journaling (always a hangup for me). Judging from what you wrote about her it seems like she would really enjoy seeing this page.

Fantastic photo and framing/masking. Beautifully blended and the journaling, besides being so nice, looks great! I love the way you changed font sizes throughout. Lovely woman!
