July-Picnic_Lei's Lemon Cake Surprise

Sounds good, Lei - I love lemons in dessert. The white & yellow give this a neat summery feel. The touch of yellow in the title is a really good idea, too.

I love making this recipe for picnics. Yum! Beautiful card too, love the lemon embellishment.

Just makes my mouth water reading this I dont use packet mixes and couldn't get that here could you tell me what sort of cake mix it is as I would like to try and make this

My mouth is watering too. I don't use cake mixes either. Jane, I think the mixes just have flour and sugar in them for the most part.

And I really like the font you used - sometimes I can't always read the recipe cause the font is too fancy - you chose a great font and it reads easily.

Lemon flavors are so great in hot weather--and this card is so appropo for the recipe. I love the mesh around the perimeter.
