Thanks for the great challenge, Lei! In light of recent family discoveries, I feel it's important for my children and grandchildren to know little facts like these about their ancestors. My mother's favorite flower is a daisy and she even had them in her wedding bouquet when she married my dad.

Daisies are a delightful flower. This will be a really special page for your children to remember their Grandparents.

Oh, Carla, what a great story. I love the paper you used for this layout. It goes so well with the daisies (my grandma's favorite flower). I need to document things like that for my nieces and nephews. Karen

Perfect blending of the old and the new. Beautiful color combination, love the ribbon curl and the floral cluster.

The yellow polka dot paper is so great for daisies! And what a nice tribute page to your mom. Love the ribbons and the way you made it look like the checked one came from a ribbon ball! How clever. Neat grungy font, too.

What a great thing to scrap! I am inspired to do something like this for my nieces & nephews. I really like the bright yellow - it is such a cheerful flower. I really like the combination of your Mom's wedding photo with the one of the daisies in the yard. And a great bit of journaling.
