July 5-11

July 5-11

My friend sent me the photos from her camera, so I was finally able to finish this week's LO.

This week started out in Iowa, and on Monday I spent the afternoon hanging out with my Mom, while Nick hung out with his brother Nate. That night we decided to get our families together for a BBQ at my parents house. Besides Nickís parents, Bill & Lisa, my parents, Jim & Tammy, my sister Lezlie drove home from Cedar Rapids to see us, and Nate, Heather, and Hayden even made it! We had a great time socializing and eating. That night I decided to stay at my parents so I could catch up with my sister. Tuesday morning, my dad took Lezlie and I out for a late breakfast at Hy-Vee in Eldora, and then I picked up Nick from his parentsí house. We loaded up the trailblazer and drove back to Indiana. Wednesday morning it was back to work for both of us, and I spent the week shadowing Dr. Weinberg in Louisville, Kentucky since Dr. Bowersox was on vacation. Friday afternoon, I drove back to Indiana to prepare for a fun weekend. Our friends Casey & Steph decided to take a weekend mini-vacation without their daughters to come visit us. They arrived late Friday night, and we started out Saturday morning with eggs, bacon and toast for breakfast. Then we drove to Indianapolis to check out the NCAA sports museum. Afterwards we headed to Castleton Square mall in Carmel to shop. After shopping we went to Dave & Busterís for dinner - it was a lot of fun with lots of games to play. We even won some prizes for Casey & Steph to take home to Mya and Maycee. Sunday morning we rented a pontoon boat on Lake Monroe with some friends including Amanda, Jordan, Candice, Steven, Christina, and Megan. We had a great time and ended our day by eating some ice cream and putting aloe vera on our sunburns. :)

Supplies in details.

Sounds like a very busy week! Great job with the journaling. I love the little row of flip flops.
