Challenge: In the 'hood
This is one of the residents in our neighbourhood. The barn in the background is the same color as the owner's home. There are lots of bright colored houses in many of the communities on the shore. I'm convinced that it is to provide a touch of color on all these grey foggy days. DH says that by tradition it is so fisherman can find their own house after a wild night with the boys but I prefer my version. Of course, I suppose they are not mutually exclusive.

I enjoyed reading about your picture. It's going to be fun getting glimpses of different neighborhoods. I hope I remember to think about taking a photo for this club this week. I've lost the habit and I keep forgetting! I will try!

I like the weathered look of the barn, the fence, and the cow! I grew up with these animals and enjoy photos of them in their surroundings.

What a fabulous photo. That cow is so beautiful. I love the look on her face. Love the color of the barn. It goes so well with the green of the grass and flowers. Nice neighbors to have.
