This trip, from Pittsburgh to Mt Rushmore, Salt Lake City, Fort Worth, Detroit and back to Pittsburgh, has taken on almost mythic proportions in my husband's families memories. It made a big impression on my family, too, when they arrived in Texas, as Lorraine was the smallest, at 5'10" with her sons & husbands on up to 6'5"; the tallest of my brothers was 5'11".
