Dogs are amazing! DD owned this terrier for six years before her first child was born, and worried that he might be jealous. Instead, he was immediately protective.

 

Journaling:

Mic was six years old when Logan came home from the hospital, but he was immediately protective. He watched over Logan from the very start.

PS: I made his little froggie flannel blanket. He was ten and a half pounds at birth and the regular sized receiving blankets didn't fit!

Somehow I missed this when it first came out. Maybe when we were having site trouble? Anyway, it’s adorable! Animal-lover that I am, I adore the theme. Next, I love the way you set everything in a bank of clouds and tore the picture edges. Also the brackets and the way you followed them with your journaling. Then the precious WA.

 

Animals ARE amazing when it comes to babies and young children. I remember my toddler nephew running down into the horse’s field before we could stop him—right up to my huge, flighty Thoroughbreds. They just stood there and never moved a muscle as he ran right up to them! I’ll never forget it!!! Scared me to death but ended up leaving me completely awed!
