Challenge: Break the Rules
Breaking the 'rule' of thirds, I placed the subject around the vertical and horizontal center line. Sometimes, you consider the rules - and choose to break them. But the important thing is to know why you are making the choice. Here, I really wanted to go for symmetry and balance. Does it work for you -- why or why not?

I like it. My eye is drawn the reflection in the bottom third which is very vibrant.

It is beautiful. I love the color and the reflection. I notice it isn't perfectly symmetrical from side to side, however, so perhaps that lends the visual interest that rule of thirds usually does...?
