Falling Leaves

This is my home. It is surrounded by beautiful trees that my husband planted when we moved here 24 years ago. They provide shade in the hot summers and beauty in the fall. I tried the technique that Elisha posted recently on how to create the lens flare. I could not achieve the majesty that she did but it was fun to try.

Beautiful trees. I just love the glowing color at this time of year & you've captured it beautifully. Nice job on the blending, too.

You may not like it as much as Elisha's, but you have created a gorgeous piece of work, Joyce. Love your use of Brandy’s stuff. Your WA cluster is perfect with this. I drool over the wonderful Fall colors. Our Fall was so dry and so warm--hardly yielded any color at all. No fiery orange-reds for us this year. If it wasn't for the ever-present Sumac, there would have been nothing but browns and grungy yellows.

Your lens flare is very realistic looking - you were very intuitive as to your placement. This is just stunning, rich and vibrant - and I love the placement of Brandy's Swirlicious brush!

Superb artwork!! That photo is just stunning and I would have never guessed you created the lens flare after the fact. The simple, yet quite striking border and cluster up top is the absolute perfect finishing touch!
