more or less stuff?
I can't decide what I think anymore. Guess I've been looking at it too long. I usually like alot of detail, but this seems so scattered. But I also don't want to get rid of anything. So maybe I need to add more? Any advice would help. Thanks!

Jenny, I think this layout is quite charming already! Since you feel like it needs "something," may I suggest a circular mat/embellishment on the left side that is under the left edge of the photo & embellishments, and probably runs off the left side/upper corner. Not sure what color--maybe a soft green that picks up the greens in the ribbon/background? or maybe photo corners, esp on left side and upper right?

However, I really think it's quite nice, and there's nothing wrong with stopping here!

JENNY!!! That's a Springer Spaniel between you, isn't it???? Love them, our Abby is over 12 years old and has been an absolute delight. To be bluntly frank, I was so taken by the photo of that beautiful dog, I didn't even look at the details of the layout! OK, second look...how about adding a couple more flowers/leaves/swirls to the upper left corner of the photo, you have one flower there now. In all, it's a lovely layout...but I'm still totally taken by the Springer!

LOVE this layout. The colors match the photo perfectly. I am not sure if I would change anything ... maybe like Ann suggest a green leaf/spot in the upper left corner and I would repeat the upper left flower in the lower right corner underneath your clustering, just peeking out a bit. Other than that which I think is just a plus to this alreay A layout ;)

What a cute photo! Love the dog with his ball and your dh (?) with his book.
It's a nice layout - I like the soft colors. I think maybe just one more pinky colored embellishment, in the position Peppi described. Just for a little balance. But it is very nice - definitely, don't get rid of anything.

I think this is lovely. Love the photo and the colors. Sorry not good enough to give opinions yet. I love it just the way it is.

I came to see the dog too. You see our springer Bullet every once in a while. I think just a small addition will help anchor your photo. One element at the bottom right corner, like a curly ribbon perhaps? and I would move that screw down to your cluster.

Thanks for the advice everyone. You all me make me laugh, because that is my parents, not me! I'm glad everyone liked it. This is a Christmas present for my mother. My father passed away earlier this year, so it has to be perfect. I took this picture 11 years ago and I know she doesn't remember it, so it will be very special. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!
