Food and Activity Journal Cover

OF COURSE... DH and I made a resolution to get healthier this year. Not really any different from past years, but at least we haven't given up. This year, we have a treadmill as well as an elliptical, plus various other ways of exercising. We both are also doing Jenny Craig. As with any kind of diet and exercise regime, you have to stick with it. That's the HARD PART! Nobody can make you do it. For Christmas I wanted to make a food and activity journal for each of the two of us. I designed a simple page-a-day journal where we can track what we eat and how we exercise, as well as weight changes. I've already printed out a year's worth of pages for my book; tomorrow I will print out DH's. This is the cover of his journal. Mine will be similar. I'll take them this weekend, have the covers printed, and then have both journals spiral bound. Here's hoping this helps us get healthier in 2011!

I used Trish Yochum's Fit Kit for the whole cover layout. =)

I love your layout, Mikelle! It should certainly be a great inspiration to follow through with all of those resolutions for the New Year! I like the happy colors and the pictures really speak for your resolutions - great idea and very unique layout!

Thank you, Sara and Belle!

Belle, do you mean the "WDK Food and Activity Journal?" That is Comic Sans, my favorite font. I actually DON'T use it very much b/c I know if I let myself, I will over-use it! The other words - Diet, Goals, Achievements, Success - are part of Trish's Fit Kit. I was wishing she had made an Alpha using that same type of lettering, too! (Hint, hint, Trish...)

Wonderful job on this! I love how you used the Fit Kit and I have been working on something to go with this kit. I'll see what I can do about an alpha with that font that I used for the word art. :)
