York Minster, p.1 of 2

Journaling from my trip diary:

The town is interesting to walk through, with busy markets, stalls and shops along tiny, pedestrian-only streets. However, it is jammed with tourists and shoppers, and felt very commercial. Bathrooms are at a premium. I cant help wondering that they have not yet learned that a tourist with an empty bladder is more likely to shop or eat & drink than a desperate tourist!

I walked into the walled town it is quite ancient. The Cathedral dominates, yet you cant get a complete view as the town is built right up to it. (Later that day, a schoolteacher we met on the train said we should go to Lincoln; that cathedral is out in the open.)

Thanks for looking.

What a beautiful layout! I had to stop and look more closely. Great journaling too!
Great LO -- they should hire you to do their advertising! :)
I hear ya! Luckily for us, there was a children's festival in town when we visited, and plenty of "facilities"! I love your page. Great photo and embellishments!
Cool sign! interesting journaling - and I really like the stamp at the corner.
This is just beautiful! The colors are gorgeous and your photo is so fun!
