Sunny California

I just got back from my recent trip to Los Angeles. These photos represent what the weather was like during fourteen of the eighteen days that I was there. This includes the four days that I was in the Danish community of Solvang. I thought that it would never stop raining, and I mean it poured from December 15th to December 22nd. Sunny on the 23rd on our drive up north to Solvang and it was nice on Christmas Eve. Christmas day it was cloudy during the day and rain in the late afternoon through the night. The 26th we started our drive back to Los Angeles and it was nice out. The rest of the time it was raining or just cloudy, except for New Years Day when the sun actually came out. The three top photos were taken in Solvang and the rest were taken in Los Angeles looking out of my friends living room.

Funny, Carol! Wow, you did have some bad weather! I thought of you at the time, hearing it on the Weather Channel. Good scrapping topic, though, and I appreciate your take on it! LOL!

I love it Carol! Sorry the weather wasn't cooperating! At least it was sunny on New Year's Day - maybe that's a sign for what the year ahead will be like for you.

Oh, dear - I am sorry for your weather experience, but what a great layout!

We're in the middle of a big snowstorm, so when I saw "beautiful sunny days" on the message board, thought I'd take a look to warm up.

Did I laugh! You did a great job and are a good sport about your experience.

And, I love your sunny background and how you arranged all your great photos on it...

I'm sorry you didn't see much sun in CA, but I like how you scrapped it!

Oh, how disappointing! But you've made a great layout out of it. I really like that sunflower. The raised edges of the photos is a really nice technique.

I know you won't agree, but as far as I'm concerned, you had perfect weather. Love the layout, especially the big, hot, sun.

I love your sense of humor! When I saw the title, I remember you saying how much it was raining in LA and got confused...until I looked at the photos. I'm glad you got to see a little bit of the sun!
