Week 3 - Self-Portrait
I'm sure I'm with a lot of other people here, but I dislike VERY MUCH photos of me - hence me being the photographer not the photographee?! Anyway - I finally picked up the courage and took some. I had to laugh - I wanted to delete them all but my DH said that they were all lovely - what does he want me wonders?!?!?!?!
Anyway - I didn't want to use a flash as it would highlight even more my age spots/wrinkles/etc, etc so I sat on my couch with my face toward the light coming through the sliding door and took this one. I like it because it shows the colour of my eyes ... and you don't get to see too many wrinkles! :embarrassed003:
My settings were:
Canon EOS20D
Shutter: 1/100 sec
Took this one in normal mode
f5.6
ISO 400
Focal Length 85.0
No flash

You do have beautiful eyes! Very cool picture, I would say it's a keeper!
I think we are all our own worst critics, others don't see the flaws we seem to ascribe to ourselves. I think you are very pretty.

Carole, you have gorgeous eyes! I think this is a beautiful, lovely picture of you! And I like what Westina said about the window reflecting in your irs - window to your soul? How well she described your beauty. And wrinkles? I didn't notice any! I really like your self portrait!
