These are some books that are important to me. In the stack, from top to bottom:
two 12x12 albums of digital scrapbook layouts
The House Book, full of ideas and tutorials about home decorating and remodeling - We are hopefully finally fixing up our house this year.
the notebook in which I keep my tried recipes, so I can make them again and again
Creative Scrapbooking With Your Computer, a very old book I've rediscovered recently because I'm interested anew in creating my own digital designs, and this book is full of directions on how to do so
TheBigPicture, a book about a great scrapbooking philosophy in which you are never "behind"
The thin book is a Blurb paper back of my 2009 blog entries.
My "textbook" for learning my Canon Rebel T1i that I bought soon after the camera last summer.
My Project 365 book for 2009. (I haven't printed my 2010 book yet.)
Then, leaning against those are a few 8x8 albums, a couple of home videos DVDs I made at One True Media, and my desk calendar.
I set up this shot on my desk, with a knit blanket for the background, arranged so the light streaming in through the windows fell on the books.
aperture priority f/5, ISO 400, 1/100sec, 41mm, no flash
