Woo hoo! I made it all the way through 2010!
Another short work week for me! In fact I also left early just about every day this week. Which was okay with me because it let me spend time with Lezlie before she left on Tuesday afternoon, and also let me take a few naps since I seem to feel pretty tired lately. Monday afternoon, Lezlie introduced me to another one of her favorite treats - frozen yogurt. A local place called A Yogurt Bliss is a lot like Yogurtland in Houston. You choose your own soft serve yogurt and toppings and pay by the ounce. Super yummy! We followed that up with a little shopping (mostly just looking). Tuesday afternoon I was sad to take Lezlie to the airport, but I’m sure she was ready to sleep in her own bed again. Tuesday was also Nick’s first day at his new job. He spent the week training, but thinks he will like his new job and gets along especially well with his co-worker Andrea. Since we both had New Year’s Eve off, we had a few errands to run and then I made taco dip for the night’s festivities. We were invited over to Nick’s co-worker’s house for the night, and despite not knowing many people, we had a great time. Games, fun, food, and a midnight champagne toast (sparkling grape juice for me) made it a great end to 2010. I am so excited for 2011 and all the changes that will be coming our way!
