Heritage Crop 2/17

Heritage Crop 2/17

I took all the good advice I got from the last chat and created a layout using some of the things that were important to the subject. Aunt Lil used to make these little booties and sell them. The journaling is from a note (in her handwriting) I found with the booties.

Awwww love the history of thise. Great job. The vintage look really comes through.
What a neat thing to scrap. I'll need to dig the little crocheted outfit I'm wearing in two of my (4) baby photos. I know it was made by my great-grandmother. Putting that on my to-do list for next month.
    Beautiful page Carla!
Lovely page! I like the blended photo at the top. How fortunate that you still have some booties and a note. My grandma used to make booties too and I don't think there are any left in existence. I remember using them on my dolls.
Fabulous layout Carla, what a special memento to have.
Carla this is soooonice! What a lovely piece of history stored away in such a delightful way!
Wonderful layout. What a great memory to preserve with a beautiful page.
Love the old photo blended into the background and the story that goes with it is such a special one! I keep telling myself I'll start to scan in my old photos and this layout reminds me of just how wonderful and meaningful these layouts can be. TFS, Carla!
Lovely layout and what a neat family story. I like the lineup of booties. Pretty vintage papers, too.
Carla, this layout is so pretty I've decided to use it in my Friday Scrap lift. I love the collection that you used and the photos.
