My sweetie and me:) The photos of us were taken by my good friend (and photographer) Cynthia Gullett. I took the bleeding hearts photo in our garden.
Directions for one technique I did on this layout:
I wanted to add a bit of texture to the mat layer of Scrapsimple Embellishment Templates: Transferred Frames. So I selected the mat layer by left clicking on its thumbnail in the layers palette to get the marching ants, then clicked the new layer button so I’d be brushing on that. I then took Brush Set: Worn Threads, chose the “woven” brush, and stamped a few times. Having the marching ants in place first kept the brushwork in the constraints of the mat shape. I then gave the brush layer a tiny little dimension using ScrapSimple Tools - Styles: Photo Masks 6401. I like the effect; I’ll be using this technique more!
