Richard Henry Taliaferro was my GG Grandfather on my mother's side. He was a prominant landowner in the south and served in the Civil War. He lost nearly everything after the war and came north, settling in the Atchison, Kansas area. This will be a cover page for his section of my heritage album.

 

The birth page behind Richard Henry's photograph is a copy of the page from one of the actual Taliaferro Bibles.

What an elegant heritage layout, Annie! I really love the way you scrap! The magnifying glass, I agree with Rose and Belle - it's a great touch on top of the ledger, journaling sheet. Super nice layout and so well done!

Incredible layout. I love heritage layouts and this one is wonderful. Great photo and the addition of the birth page from the family bible just adds that extra special touch to the page. Great job.
