Week 1 Homework 2

I took this photo at Loch Ness last summer and decided to have some fun with it. I found it more difficult to use 1 photo than the two for our first assignment. This class is really making me think! Thank you, Anna.

Love the LO! You're embellies all work together so well with the photo. I've got to tell you though that I think your late-night one with the blurred photo is cool...the trees look like that's Nessy! I like your little mermaid on there. :)

Ooh -- like this! I love how your background "blue" white space is the water and the vertical lines bubbles and sea grass...

I also really like how you arranged your photo so that the sand the monster is sitting on flows right along with your horizontal background sand -- very nice!

Your mermaid and shell cluster is really nice -- I like this layout! :)

LOVE, love, love the Mermaid and how the dangling beads look like bubbles. Great Lines and the Mermaid and bottle anchor that photo on the ocean floor. Great job!

That must have been a fun trip. It think your bubble beads are great! Dare I suggest that the sand layer be a little higher? Where it is right now isn't quite at the 1/3 level. I think you could move it up behind the picture to match the shoreline in the picture and still leave most of your embellishments right where they are now. That would bring that horizontal line more in the 1/3 zone. But I happen to agree with AnnB that the late night photographic enhancements are quite fun, too!

I like the seaweed and the bubbles as the vertical line. All of your embellishments and background paper go great with the photos.

I think this is adorable! It's understated but playful at the same time. Perfect combination. :D I agree - it is a lot easier to build a cluster with two photos, but you solved the problem beautifully by placing your embellishments where the horizontal and vertical lines meet. Well done! :D
