Get out the sunglasses- LOL!

I never tried Out of Bounds before, but Logan already had his arm out of a backyard bounce when I tool this photo. I enjoyed using it in this month's beautiful SS Club. Thank you, Amanda and Julie. It's really lovely and give me lots of ideas.

I wanted to scrap this story before I forgot it... Grandchildren are just the funniest! (Children are too!)

Journaling:

I like to listen to Logan make up stories about dragons and dinosaurs and Buzz and Woody and just about anything. One day while I was visiting I overheard him playing with his large collection of dinosaurs. As usual, they were in a ferocious battle, and I heard Logan use a fierce dinosaur voice to have Brachiosaurus ask Tyrannosaurus if he could come into his area to play. Logan then changed his voice to a higher pitch and answered, “No, no, you can’t come in! You’re not from this era!” Brachiosaurus then ran back to the era where he belonged.

How extremely clever that he knew about the 'era' thing and that you know how to spell Brachersomethingorother and Tyranerwachamacallit. Love the OOB. Wish we could do a class. Really great layout and, loved the journaling.

Dot, you did a great job with the OOB technique! And I love your very colorful layout! Logan should make straight A's in dinosaur talk! I remember when Chris was that age - he knew the names of and could spell every dinosaur that had ever lived! I enjoyed your journaling and yes, I did have to get out the sunglasses to look at this bright and happy layout but it was worth it - it soooooooooooo good!

Wow -- adorable layout AND grandson! :)

I love the bright colors of your layout, your wonderful photo and the perfect quote!

(unfortunately I don't know what "OOB" is!)

I had to come looking for this layout now because I'd commented on it, but the messageboard seemed stuck.. Good thing I "copied" my comments while waiting, so now I"ll "paste"!

I love your story! Thanks for the chuckle. I guess Brachiosaurus learned HIS lesson! These great, lively colors look so good with your photo and convey Logan's energy, as does the OOB. Great job! And, as always with your layouts, I love your blends, but here they also serve to keep the strong colors from overpowering your photo. Lovely!

Wow Dot, you did a wonderful job with this months club. I haven't worked with it yet and this is so encouraging. I love the bright colors you chose and your grandson is adorable. Perfect place to use an out of bounds technique.
