I don't miss 'beach' elements at all. The burlap look of the background and the heavy twine stitching make it feel 'beach-y' to me. I also like that strip of blue. (Now, the cardboard underneath is something I am pondering. I like the look of it, but...would torn paper over cardboard look like that?) I feel bad even asking that--you are the master! I'm just thinking out loud and trying to learn. :hit-head-with-hammer:
I agree Kim, but if I use my imagination it might be a little fence made of branches or trunks -- or maybe a hanging bridge. Both totally within the concept.
Great beach-y feeling with out the beach-y theme! I love the texture and earthy feel I get from the cardboard!
I love all the background papers that you have used. I always like cardboard, but some how never find a place to use it. Love the cheery smiles on their faces.
