The Bomber Trike 5-14 Sat Color Challenge
So glad this challenge caused me to do this page - my husband is so pleased, he wants a copy he can carry with him (I hope not in his pocket.)
Journaling: During WWII, Joe was born. His dad was foreman of the wing division at the Kansas City B-25 bomber assembly plant. Joe’s Grandpa and Uncle Eddie also worked there. Due to war rationing, tricycles were
not available. Dad, Grandpa and Uncle Eddie manufactured a trike for Joe at the bomber plant. Rubber was rationed, so the wheel is solid cast metal with a rubber bead around the rim. Joe was about 3 years old when this picture was taken – the envy of the neighborhood on one of the few trikes around.
Supplies in the EXIF file.
