I, too thought of sunset when I saw the challenge colors. The layout kind of got away from me - it still has the colors of the challenge, but all pastelness is totally flown. I liked this a lot, though, so I hope you'll grant me a little leeway.
This is a recent photo with high waters. Looking at the viewfinder, I didn't think the sunset had come out, but when I downloaded it, it wasn't bad, although I confess to upping the saturation here juuust a little.
There's lots going on here, with blending & brush work. I used swirly things from three different collections, but they worked together pretty well.
