Re-JUNE-venate Challenge Task #4

Fun challenge! Even though the pic is from 2010, I just downloaded it to my computer with task #1. bad, bad, bad...must do better. TFL!

Journaling: Whenever Logan comes to visit the first thing he wants to do is to play with Uncle Terry’s and Uncle Kevin’s old Masters of the Universe action figures, which have been living in a suitcase in the basement for over twenty years. The entire collection is in great shape, and provides hours of fun. They share space with Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which also make it upstairs at some point. At the end of the visit they all go back down stairs and wait for the next time the grandsons come here. I knew I would be happy someday that I had saved the old friends.

Dot, I LOVE the way you did your journaling! I have those same little guys in my basement too! What a cute photo and I think the way you did your background is so cool! Love the title too! I like the way you framed the title and the photo - awesome layout.

My brothers had those toys also! Wish mom would have saved them, I'm sure my boys would have loved them too! I'm a big fan of the photo blending and yours is lovely! I really like the title how you just plugged the "still" in there. Very cute!

Cool effect on the photo and the blending into the background. I remember playing with my aunts' old dress-up dolls as a little girl. It's fun to see "old" toys still being enjoyed. Good job with the task.

Wonderful page - I was anxiously waiting to see the layout for this photo and it's a great one!

Love what you did with the pic and I really like your photo masking and background. I enjoyed your journaling - sweet story - and I especially like the way you did your title.

The vintage look of your photo is so perfect here! (I must go back and pay attention to your description of how you achieved it.) I love the whole grungy feel of this layout, especially the textures in your background, the colors, and the metallic title. Your blends are always wonderful! Got a kick out of your task #1 -- I guess this challenge was made for you!

This is so creative. The journaling is great. It reminds me of my two grandsons (16 years difference in ages). The 4 year old loves playing with his older cousin's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Transformers just like Logan does. Who would have thought those toys would still be cool after all these years.

l just "stumbled" upon this great layout. You are so talented, Dot! The journaling and placement of it, the blending. You inspire me! I just may break down and take some courses in PSE!
