June 8 HNC - help I'm stuck!

I took the plunge and this is my first attempt at a High Noon Crop challenge. Help! I'm stuck! As you can see, I've only picked out one font and I don't like the color. Also, the scattered flowers are just there until I arrange them in a bouquet. Advice is appreciated!

Thanks,

Marcy

Hmmmm.. I kinda like what you've done, so I'm at a loss except to tell you so!

I like the color of your background and your lovely photos and how you arranged them. I also actually like the scattered flowers along the bottom - maybe I'd just add a few more?

i think it's very pretty. I like your colors and personally I think the LO can stand as is.

However if you think it needs more perhaps a few more scattered flowers along the bottom. I'd move them in the same arrangement but a little further to the right and closer to the photos. Maybe a small flower tucked in just to the right of the 2 top photos to tie them together--(sometimes helps draw the eye but have to see if you like it or not.) If you want to add more fonts, you could add a vertical box of text typed right onto the bg paper using a simple clean font (either in the same color as the title or in white if readible) along side the 3 photos to describe the dance, when it was, who you went with, the theme of the dance, your favorite song, or any special memory of the night because in 10 years you may forget all those things. The 3rd font could be a slightly larger size of a cursive or calligraphy font used to emphasize the specifics (ie My best friend Jonathan escorted me to this year's senior prom Enchanted. We ended the night dancing to our favorite song title...etc. I might decrease the space between the title lines to give a bit more space above the word Senior. I might shrink the background paper 1/2 inch all the way around and show an edge of white bg to form a border or draw a thin green or white border line 1/2 inch in if you feel you need more definition.

These are just ideas, because you asked, not necessary at all because your layout already is gorgeous. I really like the way you organized the photos in oval frames. Very classy!

Very pretty page, and I love how you used that framing for your photos. I sneak in extra fonts by adding a tag with the date. I'd add their names too. I learned to cluster flowers by copying the designers' clusters and I love tucking tags into flower clusters. It is looking great!

Thank you everyone for your advice! I'm having a lot fun putting this layout together, and now that a sale is going on, oh oh, watch out - the shopaholic in me is going to stock up on collections!

I love the photo frame/template SSDLT_VintageAlbum that you used. Must go and see if I've got that one. Great photos. I like the colors and the layout.
