task 8 - scraplift: Glendale

I was inspired by ScrapperBess' Memorial Day 2010 to scrap a photo using a map as a frame.

Wow! I love this! Now, you have inspired me to do a layout on my state of Louisiana! Which kit did you use for the state?

Cute idea to scrap a locale inside its state map. Nice job! Very wise of you to take pictures of the places you want to remember.

Oops! Thanks for reminding me to include the credit for the state template! I don't know how I forgot!

Btw, in case you wonder, I simply lay my photos atop the template until I liked their arrangement. Then I flattened the photo layers. Finally I clipped the flattened photos to the state template. I considered putting a thin white outline around each photo before flattening, but decided I wanted them to flow together rather than be separated.

Great LO! It looks like a lovely place. I love California, we almost moved there in 2006 and I still haven't gotten over it. *g*

All of the states are included in the kit that she linked to! I think I need to buy that one finally while it's on sale. We did a cross-country trip a few years ago, and I really want to scrap it.

Wonderful page - I like the state template and you used a nice set of photos in the shape. The journaling paper and staples is a perfect touch!
