I'm having fun Re-JUNE-venating!

I did this card for the June Game and ATC.

Journaling reads:

"My Dad never thought he'd have his own family, so was excited to become a Father.

I was his first child and he wanted to learn how to do EVERYTHING, including baths, diapers, feedings etc.

Back then this was mostly "Mother" work, but he insisted on knowing how to care for his children, even when teased about it!"

 

For this layout I used:

KSC Breathe Collection

JRE Jif 6: Wanted

and a scanned slide of my Dad and me!

What a great dad. I like your colors and the way "Dad" frames your photo. Loved studying your picture - did I spy a Singer "Featherweight" (or similar machine) in the background? Really like this.

This is precious and a lovely ATC! You had the best Dad! I love the title going around the slide along with the heart. Beautiful picture, too! I'm glad you scanned it to keep always.

Marilyn, he sounds like a fantastic father. How lucky you were to grow up in a home like that. I love your journaling and your card. Beautiful.
