Dot this is beautiful. What a great shot of the moon you managed to get. I can't see the moon from my current apartment window and I always forget to go downstairs and look for it. Hopefully my new apartment will have a view of the setting sun and moon, or at the very least the rising sun and moon.

 

That certainly was a perfect moon. Love the cloud passing in front of the moon, which shows up a gorgeous yellow/orange on the black background.

How gorgeous! Yes, I did see the beautiful moon. I watched it progress for days (and will watch it fade some more). It's always sitting brightly in the sky when I take my dog out for his last time before bed. When it's full, my sister and I call it a 'Momma Moon' because my mother loved full moons so much. She'd call us and ask if we had seen the moon that night or to tell us to go out and look at the moon. So she lives on as we continue to watch our Momma Moons.
