Saturday 6-18-11 Color Challenge -- Daisy Doo

When I saw the challenge, I knew that it was perfect for the latest photos of my kitty Daisy. I took them this morning without knowing that I would be using them in a layout today. As you can see all of the colors are represented in the layout. Daisy has the brown and black in her fur. I call her Daisy Doo and also My Little Meatloaf, as she has a little rounded belly. I used to call her 'toaster tail', as she had burnt her tail on the toaster quite often (before I moved in) and a lot of her fur had been burnt off. I kept watch over her, as my sister didn't believe that she had burnt her tail on the toaster, and within several months her tail started to fill out. Now Donna believes me.

Supplies Used:

CRO Wandering Garden -- Paper Striped, Torn Paper, Word Art, Butterfly, Alphas

I added strokes to all of the elements.

Beautiful layout, Carol......I love the pinks and greens you combined on your page with the striped background - we used to have a cat kind of like Daisy.....but IT was a HE and we lost him while he was courting the females in the neighborhood!

I like Daisy's patchy coat! Perfect colors for the challenge :) Cute story about the toaster tail - you should add that as journaling on your layout!! Good timing of Cindy's collection with the color challenge ;) Thanks for joining in!

Neat story! It ought to be on the page. :)

You're right. I'll add it to the page and save it for my scrapbook. I forget sometimes about adding journaling to my pages.
