I spent most of last summer making over our spare bedroom into my office/art studio. It was an ugly project - removing paneling, patching a million holes (previous owner was a bit nail happy), tearing out a closet, etc. I painted the ceiling fan blades, rather than buy a new one but they looked so boring! So I downloaded a scrapping design, rearranged it to fit the blades, then printed them out on clear acrylic printable sheets that I got from Amazon. It was tedious cutting them out but the end result was fun and worth the effort and it adds a bit of excitement to the room!
I just saw the Home Decorating gallery here so I thought I'd share the idea. I used non-SG stuff but I can see me redoing this in a year or so. An easy cheap makeover!
